Upcoming Show

Thursday, 2/24/11, starting 7:00 pm, at:
Claire De Lune
2906 University Avenue
San Diego

Hosted by Scott Wilson and the Contradictions
Also featuring:
  • Will Edwards
  • Rob Deez

There's no cover charge, and the venue closes at 10 pm; for those of us that have to work on Friday, that's a good thing. So come on out and show your support for local SD music!

    More to come...check back soon.

  • Album(s)

No Stone Unturned, my debut album on my own "Stoneseed Music" label, is 10 years old this year. I still have copies; if you come to a show, I'd be happy to sell you one! Who's follow up, Grow, may even be released this year. In the least there are samples to download.

    Production Music

2009 through 2011 have been busy years for a lot of music "behind the scenes", working with DHM Music Design on a number of tracks for several infomercials, including the HealthMaster and AbCoaster Montel Williams' commercials, and most recently some work on the Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis web video.
    Downloadable/Streamable Samples:

    Go rent Cold Storage

"Take Me" is featured in the closing credits of a 2009 chiller released directly to DVD by Lion's Gate, starring Nick Searcy, called Cold Storage. Thanks to the incredibly talented David Helpling - who did a most awesome score for the movie itself - for placement!

    Other Distractions

I'm currently in training for the 2011 San Diego Rock n' Roll Marathon; this'll be the 3rd one for me, having just picked up the running bug in 2009. As running goes I'm still pretty much a novice, but here's what works for me:
    • Following a regimen - this'll be the third year I've used Hal Higdon's site to keep myself motivated. This year I'm following the Intermediate II regimen. Ugh!
    • Knowing the distances - here's an awesome tool for mapping out runs:
    • Running barefoot - okay, I don't actually go fully barefoot; one piece of glass or a sharp rock can end your running season quick. But I LOVE my Vibram Five Fingers; I won't go back to regular shoes.
